Coffee is considered as one of the most addictive beverages and is an integral part of a million-morning routine. A perfect kickstart to an energetic morning is incomplete without a cup of coffee. However, too much of anything has its repercussions, and sadly too many cups of coffee do have harmful effects. Let us look at some healthier alternatives to coffee.

This is rich caffeine free alternative for coffee. It is a mix of spices such as ginger, cinnamon, turmeric and black pepper. This beverage has loads of anti-inflammatory properties due to the presence of a potent chemical curcumin.

Lemon Water

A glass of lemon water is a smart way to beat the coffee addiction and meet your hydration goals at the same time. It is calorie free and caffeine free and packed with a great dose of vitamin C. It helps boost your immunity and protects the skin from damage along with preserving bone health

Chai Tea

It is a blended black tea that is made with strong herbs and spices. It has powerful antioxidant properties and has multiple health benefits along with a robust flavor and comforting smell. It has modest amount of caffeine and may lower your risk of heart diseases.

Kombucha

Kombucha is a fermenting black tea which is made up of bacteria yeast and sugar. It contains prebiotics, acetic acid and antioxidants. However, it is advised to purchase and consume the commercially available kombucha rather than making your own due to the high risk of contamination from harmful pathogens.
